The last time I did this it was 4 years ago. Though the last time I saw the sunrise was over the summer during my konked out sleeping schedule. Back to Bing today. October 31st, 2009: Halloween Yay!! Just got back from trick o treating!!! I love doing that. So much fun. I dressed up in my Hakkenden costume. Good call since it was a bit cold out. : ) Good haul, especially after the trading! Going on the radio tonight! October 28th, 2009: HOLY CRAPOLA in the printmaking studio I'm in the printmaking studio right now. Working for once this semester. I was motivated to come back after Tap because I had a failed monotype. Ink was too tacky, paper too thin, and the press to tight. So the paper stuck to the plate. Anyway, as you can all tell it's about 12:15 am in the morning. Not too late. I've been here since 10 pm. No big, I've done this before (once even to 1 am). So I'm taking my zinc plate off the hotplate and then 2 state troopers come in. AH! I'm pretty sure they were troopers and not university police. They were decent enough, said 'good morning' and asked for my room pass. Thank god I always carry it in my wallet. Though I accidentally gave him my expired one first. And the other asked his partner if they needed ID. Without him asking I just handed it over to him. I know I wasn't doing anything wrong at all. The thing that scared me a bit is that I have never, ever heard of the police coming in to check if we're (students) allowed to work here. (FYI the janitor just walked in and didn't care I was here so ... dunno what the police thing was about) I'm assuming that they were concerned because to the best of my knowledge I'm the first student to work this late on a weeknight in a long while and seeing lights on in the studio might have raised some flags. Just thank god I had my pass! October 25th, 2009: Workshop round 2 YAY!! So much more successful today during the natural dyeing workshop. Only 2 bags were left and people actually read the B-Line!!! And one was a guy who I then gave some sewing advice how to finish edges, he made his own pillowcases and comforter. I was given a good portfolio as a thank you!! Yay!! Our graduated printmaking TA visited!! And then took me and Tony to Cracker Barrel. Woot!! Going to the radio station. Tune into WHRW 90.5 or go here to listen online http://archives.whrwfm.org/listenlive.p I'll be on sometime between 1 -3 am. October 18th, 2009October 10th, 2009: Friday The Kinsey Sicks were at Binghamton University tonight!! Tons of fun. Loved the dragapella quartet. Then tried to go bowling, but that failed when the ball wouldn't return. Perhaps some work tomorrow. September 30th, 2009September 19th, 2009September 14th, 2009September 2nd, 2009:
Doing a bit of art HW, watching America's Got Talent, and answering the same questions about the TV show to my drunk roommate. It's different but somewhat reminiscent of my freshman year. : ) August 30th, 2009:
Busy busy. Moved onto campus friday, university fest saturday, tap that stuff on sunday, and tomorrow I get to finish regestering my classes and then more tap that stuff. CRAZY. August 28th, 2009: travel day soon I really should be asleep right now. But of course I'm not. Heck, it's not like I'm going to be on the road tomorrow ... in 6 hours. Sleep shall not be satisfactory tonight, err, today. boo. August 21st, 2009August 8th, 2009: dance Oh man, I have just finished choreographing my tap dance. Only took 3 songs and basically all of summer to be inspired. Now I'm worried that I forgot the beginning cause I was choreographing in parts. So yeah, a little hazy. But it's done. And for all those wondering it's to this song. Couldn't help having a dance to a Japanese band. I'm proud that I was able to restrict myself to an instrumental track. Ok, Ok ... there's some Engrish, but that's what makes it charming! August 5th, 2009: 8 am Guess what? It's 8:08am and I'm still awake. I'm contemplating not going to bed. But I really should. I mean, I'm a little tired. And I was really tired about 2 hours ago. But waking up at 4 or 5pm is lame. Perhaps a 4 hour nap? I Dunno. ***Update*** I set an alarm clock for 1:20pm. It didn't go off. But I woke up at 1:26pm anyway. Somewhat confused. At least I didn't wake up at 4 or 5pm. But I only had 5 hours sleep. I just checked. I accidentally set the alarm for 1:20am. August 4th, 2009: Anime and Comic fans unite! For I am Marvel Mad House!! Not digging Wolverine that much ... But Iron Man is KICKASS In other news I streamlined my userpics to make way for more diversity ... like really streamlined. August 3rd, 2009: Worlds Apart I am trying to remember why I know all the lyrics to "Worlds Apart" from Big River. I haven't seen that musical, I don't know the plot, I came to the conclusion I had to have sung it in middle school. I mean that would explain why I immediately sang the soprano version of it. Damn, I really want to know when I sang it, if I really did sing it. It's like a vivid dream that I remember incorrectly because it's the afternoon. July 23rd, 2009: renaissance I have been listening to A LOT of renaissance music lately. Kinda makes one want to prance around outside with a garland of flowers and drink wine till one pukes. July 19th, 2009: Hummingbirds and Libera We have a beautiful little hummingbird who comes everyday, multiple times a day, to feed on the weeds with the orange flowers. It's a really serene sight, especially when one is listening to Libera. <3 Libera |
